Zojirushi NP-HBC10A nice rice cooker if you can afford it is the Zojirushi NP-HBC10. This is for a number of reasons. I want to talk about rice cooker technology in this article and also explain why the best rice cooker could well be this particular model. Then by the time that you get to the end of the next few paragraphs your knowledge of rice cookers sold today will hopefully be at a higher level that it is right now.

My experience in Zojirushi rice cookers comes from about eight years of using these Japanese electronic products. We all know that the Japanese are highly regarded for the quality of their electronics industry so as you would expect these machines are decent too. They are actually very easy to do and take care of the entire rice cooking process for you. That said, even with one of the best units, you still have to prepare the rice correctly so that you get the best results.

Over the past few decades, there have been some major advances in the technology that is used by rice cookers. The first of these being the introduction of Micom technology. This is a computer chip that controls the cooking functions. So depending upon the cooking cycle that you choose, this computer chip will control the length of time that the Zojirushi NP-HBC10 chooses to cook your rice. On top of this, it is responsible for setting the temperature too. So it does not really matter what type of rice that you want to cook. As long as you choose an appropriate setting you are sure to get great results.

Another major advance that is even more recent is the unveiling of Induction Heating (IH). This is not quite as prevalent as Micom. You cannot in fact get any rice cooker that has IH but does not have Micom. The most important of the two is surely Micom. But if you can afford it, getting a rice cooker like the Zojirushi NP-HBC10 that has both Micom and Induction Heating would be the best idea.
