You’re excited about your new MLM business and you’ve decided to go to work even before attending your first MLM training. Congratulations! You’re a self starter and success is on the agenda.
Even without MLM network marketing training, you know you need to secure a domain. I recommend securing a domain with GoDaddy.com or MergeDomains.com. They both have excellent service. MergeDomains is a bit cheaper and that can add up when you discover the many domain possibilities.
Remember, .com is the preferred domain extension. You could make yourself crazy inputting the first hundred domain possibilities that come to mind. Or, you could check out this video for a wonderful review of MakeWords.com:
One of the most important factors in being productive and efficient when you’re running an MLM business is your ability to schedule your time properly. Most of us believe that we’re organized and maybe that’s true for a few of us, but in reality for most, it simply isn’t the truth.
Do you ever find yourself not being able to accomplish everything you set out to do in a day or a week no matter how hard you try? Are you trying to hard to cram too many projects into your days and weeks, or are you short on time because you just need to work on how your organize things and manage your time?
Unfortunately that’s not really a good thing. You see, your television set may actually be one of the biggest wastes of time in your life. Your life is way too valuable to be wasting on non-educational programs and silly reality and game shows that don’t bring very little value if any, to your life.
It’s also keeping you from getting more important things done like work, exercise and more importantly, spending time with your family.
If you’ve ever tried to balance your day job and your MLM business, you probably already know how frustrating that can get.
Once you get your business started, you want to dump your day job and put all of your time and energy into your new business.
But if you quit your day job too soon you won’t have the income you need to support you and your family until your MLM business can take over that role. For some of us it won’t take very long for that to happen, but for others it might take just a little more time.
Have you ever thought about what the two most important things for your future happiness would be? If you said to be famous and succeed in life, your priorities need to be re-evaluated.
While success is one of the more important things, family should always be first. And while it’s nice to be famous, family (friends included) is more important because without their support, chances are your business will never achieve great financial success.
The 80/20 Rule was first known as the Pareto principle. The basic idea behind it was that there is a “vital few and trivial many”, which means that 20 percent of something is the driving force behind 80 percent of the result. The concept can be applied to almost anything.
A good example would be a sports team where the star players are the force behind the team. The rest of the players serve as back up even though they are a part of the team’s success. There will always be star players that are the biggest contributors, but also back up players that contribute a lot less. The same concept can actually be pointed directly at your network marketing business as well.
The 80/20 concept can actually be applied to your MLM business in a few ways.
Hopefully you now know that you need to write articles for your lenses and other Web 2.0 sites and blogs, because article marketing, or educational marketing is what works in today’s Web 2.0 world…So what’s next?
Well, what the big-money earners do is set up a Marketing Funnel.
First thing’s first. Statistics show that a person must be exposed to an idea at least 7 times before they’re willing to accept it. So instead of writing an entire Squidoo lens or blog post on “why you have to have my MLM” you should start at the beginning.
Solution #1 – The Perfect Prospect/Contact Solution
With the power of the World Wide Web and social media, Internet marketers like you and me have the perfect tools to reach our prospects with. When you use these tools you will never have to worry about offending anyone by inviting them to a meeting that they’re truly not interested in attending.
You’ll never have to worry about getting fussed at for pitching an idea to someone just to get them interested in your business. And best of all, you won’t have to worry about your friends and family avoiding you any longer!
As a matter of fact they don’t even have to know that you’re building your business until you’re ready to tell them. When the time is right, you’ll have the credibility and they’ll have a better reason for wanting to hear about your business opportunity.
Have you ever had a prospect hang up the phone on you or scoff in your face after you’ve approached them with a business opportunity? If so, then I want you to know that you’re not alone.
Because the heart of your MLM business depends on distributors for your downline, you must be able to reach those fresh prospects, which can often be a very difficult task.
And once you do manage to recruit your new downline members, you must keep them motivated and growing, not to mention succeeding. Now let’s assume you’ve been in network marketing for a while, you’ve probably already run into that road block and are wondering how on earth do you get and, most importantly how do you keep, a downline that’s active and growing.
