Natural Anti Wrinkle Tips

Skin health can be influenced by certain hereditary factors, which also influences how your skin ages.  You inherit your skin type and you may also inherit a familiar tendency to eye bags, a double chin or any other expression lines which mark out the older face from a carefree young one.  There is as yet, nothing you can do to change the hand you are was dealt with at conception and the type of skin you have goes some way to determine your skin health, and how it feels and behaves.  Generally speaking pale skin is usually quite fine and may appear to have more fine lines.  This is largely due to the fact that darker skin tends to have more surface lipids to seal it against moisture loss and more melanin to protect itself.  Wrinkles usually seen on finer skin, tend to be the light crinkly type, while the thicker the dermis and subcutis, found in darker skin, can sometimes mean it is more likely to develop fewer but deeper crevices, but putting these genetic tendencies aside, is there something we can do about intrinsic aging that occurs naturally in the skin.

There are many anti wrinkle creams and formulations that help ward off the signs of aging, but why is it with so many companies out there offering the next best miracle cure, are so many people dissatisfied with the results.  The fact is, that the best anti aging product in the world will not make the slightest bit of difference, if the foundation for skin health has not been put in place.  Eating healthily and using a good skin care regime that includes cleansing, toning and moisturising, to heal and protect the skin, can do this.

Ingredients should be as natural as possible, as the fewer the chemicals, the less damage will be done to the skin barrier function, making it less susceptible to environmental damage.  It is important to ensure the skins moisture levels are kept high and this can be done by drinking plenty of water and ensuring that you incorporate natural anti wrinkle oils into your skin care routine, such as argan, avocado and rose hip seed oil, as they have many anti aging benefits and will also help to increase moisture in the cellular membrane.   It is important to protect from dangerous UVA rays, and practise safe sun practises, also be sunscreen savvy, remembering that a lot sun creams have chemical in also, so the more natural the better.

Finally maintaining a healthy diet is key, ensuring you eat an abundance of fruit and vegetables, that are rich in vitamins and minerals, as these contain antioxidants that help to protect against free radicals, and supplementing with anti aging vitamins is also advisable, as many of these can visibly ward of the signs of aging, protecting the youth and vitality of the skin.
