Sell Products on Your Squidoo Lenses

Editor | How to Sell Your Products,Social Media Networks | Sunday, July 12th, 2009

It’s probably more than obvious to most that because you’re a distributor for an MLM company that sells a great product, you would make that product available for sale to your prospects and customers as well.

Unfortunately that is always how everyone thinks in the world of online marketing. More often than not, many network marketing focus solely on recruiting and often forget about one of the most important things in market –the product.

So instead of focusing on just the recruiting, why not go all out and create product sales and/or information pages using a Squidoo lens? Say for example you wanted to sell Sea Aloe vitamins with an MLM program. You would do some keyword searches on “vitamins,” “Sea Aloe,” and “natural vitamin.”

How to Train Your Downline Using Squidoo

Editor | MLM Training Tips,Social Media Networks | Monday, July 6th, 2009

Squidoo lenses and Google Knols are a great way to provide MLM training, hints, tips and advice using training modules that teach the principles of attraction marketing.

You can use each Squidoo lens or Knol to teach an important aspect of the bigger picture by creating a step-by-step lesson plan that will lead your new prospects by the hand to learn how to be more effective in their sales and approaches.

When you devote one lens to each bit of personal development, you’re teaching them how to do what you do. You can then feature books using Amazon, ClickBank or PayDotCom to provide more information on a particular point. Once you’ve done that, you’ll want to be sure to link those pages together in logical order.

Use Keywords in Your Article Title and Content

Editor | SEO,Social Media Networks | Saturday, July 4th, 2009

The most important thing to remember when you’re writing articles or blog posts for search engine optimization is to include the keywords in the title and the content. Some people will even go as far as to include more than one keyword in their titles.

You’ll also need to include your keywords in the introductory paragraph and at the very least, in the closing paragraph of every article. Doing so will allow the search engines to identify what your article is about, for instance “work at home.”

You should also try to use each keyword in your URL.  For instance, when you first register for a Squidoo lens, try to get your URL like this: Squidoo.com/work-at-home. Or, if you’re creating your own blog, try for a URL like www.mlmtrainingreport.com

An Introduction to Information Marketing

Editor | Information Marketing | Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Information Marketing is the new age of selling products online. Info products don’t require shipping and you don’t have to keep inventory or worry about a defective item. You can digitally download all of your orders. With a little creativity, you can be in business with little or no investment, as you’re profiting from articles, reports, e-books, etc that you can write yourself and sell to others.

The info product can either be created for you or it can be something you’ve written yourself. When you write your own articles, reports or e-books, you don’t have to worry about paying a fee for someone else’s work and you can write it exactly the way you want to write it.

If you’re not good with writing, you can outsource and purchase articles from a freelance writer and use those as a way to create income. Or if you enjoy writing, but wouldn’t mind a little help with editing or re-writing, you could combine the two.

Google Pay Per Click Overview

Editor | Pay per Click Marketing | Friday, July 3rd, 2009

For many Network Marketers Google Pay Per Click (PPC) is one of the easiest ways to drive traffic to their websites. Sure it costs to advertise with their service, but it’s well worth it. Plus, the best part is you only pay for those customers who click through to your website.

PPC advertising allows its users to bid on specific keywords and then your ads are displayed on the search engine’s results page. How high your ad ranks on the results page will generally depend on the keywords and how much you bid, or how unique your keywords are, compared to your competitors.

Imagine having your link at the top in big bold letters. Now just imagine how many customers who are looking for your particular product, will click through to that link and visit your website. It’s really that simple, but you do need to keep in mind a few things.

Editor | SEO | Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

This is Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) 101 here, the very first step you need to take in setting up your online marketing plan – keyword research.

Okay, so it would really be nice if people could just type the words “how to make money at home” and just show up on your lens or Knol about how to make money with MLMs, however that’s not the real world and there are just way too many other people fighting for the same keywords and position.

Now that doesn’t mean that someday you won’t be able to pull in a top 10 SERPs position for those particular keyword phrases, but right now, you need to find other less competitive phrases to grab the attention of your prospects.
